2008 Rivals/Scout/etc. National & Regional Rankings

I thought this article would be relevant to how Scout and Rivals rank the players and by state. The article talks about the draft and they map out where all the picks came from. Pretty cool feature really. California led the draft with 36 players taken, followed by Texas and Florida with 26 a piece. Ohio had 18 taken.

Even cooler, Burton says in the article that Ohio had the best draft state in the entire country in his opinion.

FWIW he has Shugarts, Brewster & Adams all listed as co #1's at Quick OT (and Kyle Long at #2).

Marcus Hall of Glenville is also listed as the #4 Sophmore "Strong" OT.

Free Scout

5/18

Updated Southeast top 150. Of note:

#9 Michael Brewster
#13 Etienne Sabino
#16 Josh Jarboe
#20 A.J. Harmon

I am starting to get worried about Miller's health...he obviously is going crazy. And I'll tell you this...if I am a FSU fan I am livid...based on the film I've seen, Vincent Williams at #91 and Moses McCray at #129 is nothing short of laughable.

My dad can beat up your dad

Neither Rivals or Scout are showing anything but I have seen numerous UM fans say that they landed Wemers today...one guy also states that they consider Wermers, O'Neil and Mealer to be on the "same level" as Adams, Shugarts and Brewster.
Wermers, O'Neil and Mealer, "SAME LEVEL" as ADAMS, SHUGARTS,& BREWSTER...... WHAT!!! that is the craziest thing i ever heard.

I don't know who said that, but O'Neill is really the only Top100 caliber lineman Michigan got. Mealer and Wermers are Top250 level guys.
