2008 Rivals/Scout/etc. National & Regional Rankings

Well some players must of got more votes yesterday after I had voted...

But seriously IMO a 5-star player is a no brainer, not someone that half the voters think that he is a 5 star or not...

I bet you Mike Adams would get a better vote than 51/49 or like Nix 60/40...

Torrence escapes Hale.

Agree RB, from the neck-up, Tyron Smith looks like a tight end or receiver.

Generally speaking, you can tell from a picture what position a kid plays. A rounder face with no surmisable chin usually equates to a common OL or DL. When a kid looks thin in a picture and he is actually 6'6" and 280, that is impressive - one would guess by his profile picture only that he is a WR, LB, or TE....not an OL.

Well besides DJ shoemate all the guys yesterday had pretty overwhelming positive votes towards being 5 stars...

Also I havent seen all of these guys, but I don't have much beef with these guys being where they are at, other than I think that I would put Arthur Brown ahead of Hale...

#5 Nigel Bradham

Are they serious with this?????

Just watch that video if you can after seeing ms. Russell...

The two clips of him they show him not being able to shed blocks, meeting the rb in the hole about 5 yards down the field and then not delievering the blow on the back, but him getting knocked back so the rb picks up about 7 or 8 yards...

Maybe I am missing something here...I havent seen it everytime I have viewed him on film, I can see not putting him in the top 100 with everyone else loving him as a prospect, and going to FSU, but what am I missing on this one...

Also I would have Green ahead of Jones...

Overall not a horrible list from Rivals, but the omissions of Adams is glaring brightly to me...Also the fact that they have Rudolph as the #1 prospect in the state over Adams and Torrence...

I don't understand Bradham either...I don't even see him being in the top 100...shoot, I struggle to even see him as a 4 star in the top 250. He has good size and decent athletic ability but he just doesn't impress me one bit on film. He takes down ball carriers up high and pretty much pulls them into his body instead of exploding through...he is going to get trucked doing that at the next level. I think Arthur Brown is hands down the top LB in the country, with Hale following. I also think Sweat is one of the best as well but just doesn't get the hype. I would have had it: Pryor, Brewster, Brown, Green, Scott as my top 5.

That's not THAT shocking. I think you probably have case with Adams. I don't know about Torrence though. I'd have him right behind those two in the Stoneburner-Posey-Moore range. JMO.
