2008 NFL Draft (Projections/Mock Drafts/Evaluations/Draft)

well if it was our 4th and 5th than we probably just killed our draft. Bell is a very nice pick up but they could have waited and gotten crable and drafted Scandrick CB or Lowery with their 5th pick to fill a hole at CB. :shake:
Crable went to the pats with the 78th pick.

Other than Atlanta, is anyone drafting as stupid as Baltimore?

Flacco 18th overall
Ray Rice 55th overall
Tavares Gooden 71st overall
Tom Zbi-fucking-kowski 86th overall
Oniel Cousins 99th overall

They traded to get maybe the most overrated QB in this draft and did it way too high, then take a tiny RB with over 900 carries on him from college despite already having McGahee and Cory Ross who is very similar to Rice, and Zbikowski who looks cool chasing down players after they've already gained 40 yards. They don't address the o-line until the end of the 3rd and don't address receiver at all.

How bad are they screwing over Troy right now? You want a Cleveland Browns turnaround, Baltimore? Draft some fucking weapons for your QB, idiots.

I don't know why people praise Ozzie Newsome's drafting so much. He has know clue how to scout offensive prospects.

The sooner Troy gets out of Baltimore, the better. Seattle needs a back-up QB.

Thanks didn't notice that. Trying to get ready for work. :smash: Well still I hope bell turns into a player because I still see a few players that might have filled a couple of needs. On the positive side we haven't drafted any players that I can't stand like we usually do. In savage I'll have to trust. GO BROWNIES!!!

Savage will probably try to get back into the fifth round by using a pick or two from next year to get a CB. Hopefully because we need one.

Anthony Collins is a solid pick up for the Bungles.

Not bad at all...I was pulling for Kellen Davis but I forgot we picked up Utecht. I've been pleased with day 2. Other than our 2nd round blunder, Sims, Caldwell, and Collins are all good pickups.

Steelers draft thus far...

1. Rashard Mendenhall - Brilliant.
2. Limas Sweed - He is the big guy Big Ben wanted. Good enough for me.
3. Bruce Davis - WTF?

We could have gotten Davis in the fourth if we had waited. This is a very questionable pick. We need o-line.

Going to have to say that as of now, it looks like a pretty terrible decision. But then again they have scouts and I'm just me.

Luckily I'm not a Bengals fan so this move doesn't bother me. :tongue2:

Couple surprises in the draft.. really surprised that Malcolm Kelly fell so far..

Agreed...I liked Rivers at #9 but Jerome Simpson? I posted in the Bengals thread he better be a Pro Bowler for taking him over Sweed, Kelly, Davis, Groves, etc. The Bengals have a tendancy to draft guys they could get in the next round or 2. I can't imagine this guy not being available in the 3rd...
