2008 NFL Draft (Projections/Mock Drafts/Evaluations/Draft)

I wonder how far Jack Ikegwuonwu falls because of his injury.

He is an NFL-ready corner (at least as ready as one can be), in my opinion. He's got great cover skills and is very physical.

Probably not too far, except the there are other guys who've had great workouts that are passing him. I'd guess 5th or early 6th round.

Man, could the crew for ESPN drool a little more over booty? I mean seriously now.
Well their marvelous "expert" has been drooling over Booty for months. They've got to do something to hide the fact that he went three full rounds later than the hair predicted.

[X-Ray Randy Font]This is a fucking travesty!!! What were they thinking? All of these GOD DAMNED GMS SHOULD BE FIRED TODAY!! are they so stupid not to realize what is plain to everyone else? Frank Okam is a first round pick all american, hell he can probally outrun TED GINN!!! The fifth round? they must be joking, we knew years ago that he should have been the number one overall pick!

Dont forget Jermicheal Finley either.. thats the fastest tightend the world has ever seen and they drafted him in the third round??! its a conspiracy!!! how could they?!

I know marcus griffin and billy pittman havent been drafted yet but thats just because they are so smart they knew that the new super NFL is forming soon and there wasnt any reason to get tangled up in this short term fad that is the national football league!!![End XRay Randy Font]

Great situation for Dennis. Glad to see him go to Pittsburgh.

Does Pittsburgh intend to use Dennis Dixon like Slash? If so, that pick seems justified. If not, Charlie Batch is one of the best backups in the league, and I don't see the reasoning behind that pick.

It's about potential. It's a good value pick.

Josh Johnson just got drafted. Ainge, Woodson, and Brennan are still on the board.

OregonBuckeye: It is a good value pick, especially in Round 5. And they have been trying to draft another QB in Round 5 to backup Big Ben for years. It is almost a mandate. And, he does have potential. And I'm happy to have him on the team, because he seems like a hard worker, and he seems smart enough to learn the system. And, if all else fails, he could turn into a Stewart-Ward-Randle El type. He is athletic enough. And he could have gone earlier if it had not been for that injury. And, he was probably the best athlete available.

But still, I just wanted to see that offensive guard void filled. They do have two 6th round picks to devote to that.

Edit: There goes Ainge to the Jets. He could get a chance to develop there, with how much playtime Pennington and Clemens are going to get. Woodson and Brennan are still on the board.

it is pick 184 and the Falcons still haven't drafted a DT. I mean really, what the fuck. Another WR and another RB, an OLB, a DE that is undersized. I like the CB (although I think the took him a little high) and S picks but they are going to get gashed up the middle.
