Collison may have just worked himself into the second round. Dude had a pretty terrible tournament overall, especially for someone so hyped.

Brazelton ate his lunch while kicking him in the nuts, and in this game he should have just stayed home.

Excited to see how Lawson performs on the big stage here shortly.

I have no idea how far down he worked himself but he didn't have a very good game today.

Derrick Rose happily accepts any amount of NBA cash that Collison may have lost today.

Lawson's built like a running back. His strength is what really helps him finish near the hoop, and he's great at garnering contact to get to the line.

When he's on, and healthy.. Lawson is the best PG I've EVER seen.

Lawson is not even the best PG in college bball...

I think that "when he's on" statement is a pretty broad clarifier. In fact, what made the great ones "great" was that they didn't have to be "on" to be great. Watching Lawson tonight, he can barely dribble the ball without getting it stolen. He must be "off." :wink2:

I'm really disappointed in Lawson tonight. He came out like a deer in the headlights.

Hopefully he can put something together in the second half. Normally his best attribute, being able to finish amongst the trees, is getting him in big trouble under the hoop.

It was also great to see Roy sacrifice his best players to teach them lessons by putting them on the bench. It certainly helped keep the game close.

So now after seeing Collison and Lawson against the best of the best and lay eggs...

I continue to say take best available...If that is them then so be it...But neither one of them guys are impact guys on the first season, and I think we just need someone that can help in their first season, whoever that might be...

I really like Westbrook from UCLA...He is their best pro prospect IMO, even know some of the talking heads will tell ya it is Kevin Love...n

Arizona leading scorer Bayless to enter NBA draft

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona freshman guard Jerryd Bayless has decided to enter the NBA draft.

Athletic department spokesman Tom Duddleston confirmed Bayless' decision Saturday.

Bayless has been projected as a lottery pick. He averaged a team-high 19.7 points.

Bayless, a Phoenix resident from St. Mary's High School, averaged 33.2 points his senior season in leading his team to second place in the Arizona state tournament.

A McDonald's All-American, he averaged 37.9 as a junior.

Louisville sophomore Clark opts for NBA Draft

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Louisville sophomore forward Earl Clark will skip his final two seasons and enter the NBA Draft.

Clark averaged 11.1 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.7 blocked shots for the Cardinals (27-9), who fell to North Carolina in the NCAA tournament's East Region final last weekend.

Clark averaged 14.5 points and 8.3 rebounds in Louisville's four tournament games.

He is the second Louisville player to decide to leave early. Forward Derrick Caracter announced he would skip his final two years.

Clark had said earlier in the season that he would return for his junior year, but changed his mind after the team's tournament run.

Derrick Rose sure looked 19 tonight. Had a few moments, but definately looked like a freshman a majority of the night. I especially liked when Callipari got all over him for giving the ball up in the last minute of regulation when the ball NEEDED to be in his hands.

I still think Brazelton would be an excellent pick for the Cavs. I don't know if Brazelton had an out of body experience in the tournament, but he looked amazing.

Rose cemented himself in the top 2...Depending on team need he could go one, but still think that Beasley is the best overall player in the draft, but Rose closed the gap with a great tourney...Both will be very good players...

Darell Arthur is another that cemented a solid place in the draft for himself...I would say 15-20 area...He is really long and has a nice solid jumper, and nice touch around the rim, and can block shots...

Eric "Air" Gordon declared today.

I'm sure he'll be a lottery pick, but any other opinions on his draft status? How high does he go?

He will go top 10 for sure...Probably top 7...He and Mayo will jockey for the top sg off the board, and Bayless could go ahead or behind him as well...

I look for the top 6 to look something like this...There might be a euro go in there somewhere as well...
1. Beasley
2. Rose
3. Lopez
4. Bayless
5. Gordon
6. Mayo
