First of all, I want to say I agree about the bigs. Nobody that the Cavs will be able to draft at their position will be helpful to the team in the near future, where a guard possibly could have in impact on this team.

I also agree about the role the Cavs need to fill. Right now there are only two players on this team that can create shots. LeBron of course, and in a much more limited sense, Z. None of the guards this team has can penetrate on a consistent basis, and that's something this team could use. I'm not sure it would make LeBron better (can he really get better?) but at least he might not have to work as hard to do it.

Thus the reason why I would lean most towards best PG/SG...I still take best player available tho...There is no guy on our team that is so good other than LBJ that they can't be relegated to less minutes or the bench...Maybe Z, but he is on the downslope of his career and if that is the position we go then so be it...

I continue to like Lawson more than Augustin because of his penetrating ability, but I'd take either at the drop of a hat. Lawson's ability to finish at the hoop is extradorinary given his height.
Lawson's built like a running back. His strength is what really helps him finish near the hoop, and he's great at garnering contact to get to the line.

When he's on, and healthy.. Lawson is the best PG I've EVER seen.

Robin, Brook to enter NBA draft after two seasons at Stanford

The Lopez twins are going pro together.

Stanford sophomore Robin Lopez is joining his 7-foot brother Brook in entering the NBA draft.

The brothers made their announcement to The Associated Press on Monday through mother, Deborah Ledford.

It was expected that Brook would declare himself eligible for the NBA, but Robin was not so certain. They were prep stars in Fresno, Calif., and came to Stanford together. Now they will depart as a tandem, too.

Nevada big man McGee decides to enter NBA draft

RENO, Nev. -- Nevada sophomore center JaVale McGee is leaving school early to go pro and his mom already believes he's more skilled than most of the players in the NBA.

Of course, McGee's mother knows a little more about basketball than the average parent. Former U.S. Olympian and WNBA star Pam McGee already has a nickname for her high-flying, shot-blocking son: The Big Secret.

"If you talk to any pro scouts, they will tell you JaVale is probably the most skilled 7-footer in the country, one of the most skilled 7-footers in the world," Pam McGee told reporters at a news conference Monday after her rather shy son briefly and quietly thanked Nevada's coaches and fans for helping to make his dream come true.

ESPN - Complete list: Who's in, who's out of 2008 draft? - NBA

Complete list: Who's in, who's out of 2008 draft?

College players are beginning to declare their intentions for the NBA draft. For the most part, information received this time of year is fairly unreliable. Last year at this time, for example, Ohio State's Mike Conley said he'd definitely be returning to Ohio State. He's now finishing his rookie season with the Memphis Grizzlies.

The general rule is that if a player is projected as a lottery pick, his chances of declaring for the draft are very high. However, after Joakim Noah, Al Horford and Corey Brewer all decided to stay in school two seasons ago, nothing is a given.

Last year, 32 underclassmen and six international players declared for the draft. Who's in and who's out this year? Insider spoke with a number of NBA executives, scouts, NBA player agents and individuals close to the players making the decision to come up with this list, which we'll be constantly updating.

College underclassmen and international players who don't turn 22 this year have until April 27 to declare themselves eligible for the NBA draft.

The one Lopez twin is a big of a surprise, but the one entering the draft moves KK down the board a little as he is projected higher than KK...

The other could be as well with a good workout or two...

Brook is the one that's a sure top ten pick.

Robin I've heard is underrated. He's not the natural scorer that Brook is, but he's a tremendous hustle player. the Varejao comparison is thrown out with Robin a lot, so it wouldn't surprise me to see Robin go in the 25-30 range, or even in the 25-20 range if the right team is picking(someone like the Spurs or the Lakers that could use a high energy big).

Good analysis. Robin frequently switched on the perimeter and would defend 2's and 3's.

Pretty impressive for a 7 footer.

For Cleveland I want a Point, or the best player available- depending.

If the best player available is a Center, take him. If it's a 2 guard, or a SF, pass it up and go for point. Of course also depending on the next PG available.

I like DeLonte, but we could still use some depth there- as when Damon Jones comes to point, we don't run as soundly offensively.

As interested as I would be in the best offensive player, we all know, as previously stated, Mikey wouldn't play that player.
