My girlfriend said to me last night, "Hunny, why do they give out the Heisman before all the games have been played. Doesn't it hurt the winner when he has to go around to all those press luncheons like when Troy won it?" I wanted to hump her on the spot. I love her to death and she watches all the football games by default on my behalf, but if a casual fan can see the way they do it now is ridiculous, you would think the thought might have occured to the brass. This year is the perfect example of why you should wait til ALL the games have been played. Don't you think it would be benificial to see who's better b/w Bradford and Teabag ON THE FIELD. That being said, I hope McCoy wins the damn thing. HEISMAN JINX:biggrin:.

As long as I don't get labeled a child molester too, I should be able to sleep tonight. I guess you're not going to address the stats any more than the colors provided to you earlier.

The hyperbole around Florida is nauseating, but that's a separate topic. The kid can flat out play. It is funny that their hype and personal network(s) are now the embodiment of everything they screamed about two years ago this month.

I can't believe voters are going for Tebow over McCoy. In Florida's loss, Tebow lost a key fumble and missed a wide open receiver late in the game that would have set up a winning score.

In Texas's loss, Colt McCoy led a great comeback, and a drop by a young DB with 10 seconds left gave Harrell and Crabtree the chance to win the game.

McCoy did more with less around him. Before the CCG, Tebow wasn't even close to McCoy or Bradford in the season-performance-to-date. It's wrong that people are that much importance on that 1 game for the Heisman.
