I don't know if Johnny Sears smoking pot tops a certain RB from OSU.....Just me though

Probably not, but smugness always needs to be smacked down.

BTW, what was the name of that masturbating player scUM had a few years back? And I forget the name of the other one who broke a bottle over someone's head?

And we should not forget that a former scUM coach did provide a new phrase for getting drunk and making an ass of himself on a pool table I believe. :)

I believe Larry Harrison is the first, dunno about the others. I would still rather have a player disciplined for pot/drugs than well...we all know the Mo Clarett deal

You may be a little hard pressed to find someone who is going to stand up for Mo C here.

No doubt I would. There's really no one in their right mind that could defend Mo C, but to say "I can't wait to hear a UM fan's reaction" etc... when you guys have studs like MoC and DBo is kind of hypocritical, that's all. I am not, in any way, condoning what Sears did either

So you're complaining about a (supposedly) hypocritical NFBuck chastising hypocritical UM fans chastising OSU players?

You still seem to be missing the point.
1) It's a buckeye board.
2) You invented the fight, NFBuck was not excusing, or even discussing, OSU players. He was laughing at the pompous UM fans that resort to police blotter smack.
3) sandgk & buckiprof attempted to poke fun at this little spat. Prof wasn't literally asking for Harrison's name.
4) We all get your point about Clarett. It doesn't really refute what is being said at all.

I recall one OSU player arrested since the beginning of 2006. How's it going up north?

Some sarcasm can be hard to pick up on print. Yes yes, I do agree with your points and I took this off-topic. My bad. Cleve, surely we don't only count since the start of 06 though?

Anyway, O/T is done for me. Sears being gone is great news, as he is a putrid and atrocious football player. This only helps our secondary, so I'm a fan of the move. Anyway, anyone think UM beats PSU this week?

I think UM could very well beat PSU, though I would not bet on that one either way. I'm still not sure what that will tell us about UM, however... though it would be a significant step up from the laughable praise the ever-exciteable ESPN heaped at Big Blue's feet. I still think that PSU is half a ballclub, if not less, thanks to Morelli & PSU's continuing tradition of lackluster OL (resorting to holding good opposing DL on every play).

If PSU's physical D can pound on the sore Hart, how will the backups step up while he takes snaps off? Will they hold onto the ball?

There are two reasons that PSU is gonna beat Michigan. The first is their run defense. Michigan isn't gonna beat PSU by running the ball 50 times. Mallett will have to make some big plays with his arms. The second is that PSU's WR's will eat Michigans DB's alive.

38-21 PSU
