I think it is fair to say at this point.....you f*cked up.

I would include massey, and harrison in this list, but i'm not sure we really wanted them did we?
That doesn't matter if we wanted them or not. It would not bother me in the least to see Ohio kids go up there and never beat us, In fact that is what I hope for. If I were JT I would show that article to every recruit he sees.

you think it's bad now? if m*ch*gan loses to notre ame this week, there will be a level 7 meltdown. what is happening now is nothing compared to what will happen in response to a loss to a completely inept domer squad at the big house.

i'll vbet someone. if scum loses to nd on saturday, carr is out by the next game.

I kinda think that meltdown has already happened and the final straw will be if they beat us. Anything between now and then is moot, JMO. Even if they win them all it won't erase the taste those fans have in their mouths.

What you say can be true, who is worse Mich or ND. If they lose to ND then some might say that Mich was the worse team or they could say they were the better team. If the wolverweinie fans go into the game thinking that ND is better and are going to win anyway then the repercussions won't be as bad as if they think the other way. Right now it is very hard to decide.
But I have to say that I liked the way that Clausen played in his first game yesterday. He definitley impressed me.

and you mean "if we beat them," right?
Of Course !
Btw here is where I heard that tsun is going for it's recruits. Truthfully this picture was actually taken in Kalamazoo MI.

if you read the Oregon game thread, there are a couple articles linked which outline how there were three recruits taking unofficial visits to the Pig House this weekend. TSUN misspelled one's name on a necklace they gave the recruits, which doesn't bode well at all, and all three said after the game that they wanted to play for the Ducks. the implications of that are rather far reached...

I just noticed two posts on the front page of this thread.

This one:

I certainly agree that JT has LC's number, but he's not undefeated. With as much talent as they have on that team, and being on a year-long, single-minded mission, they have as good a chance against us next November as they've ever had. They played well this year and they will play well next year. It may not make a difference, but then again it very well might.

Which now looks completely stupid.

And this one:

If those guys' only goal next season is to beat Ohio State, what do you think the chances are that they'll look past one of their other opponents and get upset?

Which doesn't.

You want blather, you go to Columbus, or any other place where the politically correct football police hold more power than your wife with a dish towel.
You want to know what a football player is really thinking, you go to Ann Arbor.

It seems increasingly unlikely that Lloyd Carr will be allowed to continue as head football coach at Michigan after this season.
No one has said so officially, of course. But keeping his job is a long shot, because of an 0-2 start, the current four-game losing streak, and a dissatisfaction among the maize and blue crowd that can't seem to remember 1997's national championship because they can't forget five losses in the past six years to Ohio State.
