2.) There's a difference between not taking a lot of players from in-state and not being able to get top players from your state that you're after.
Would it be fair in response for us to say the following? How long ago did the Alex Boone thing happen? I guess that's the last time I've publicly heard of under-age drinking at OSU, but I'm taking the wild assumption that there's been alot more incidents of players drinking under-age since then. My guess though, those other players were just a tad bit smarter and didn't drink like oh, forty beers and then get behind the wheel of a car.

2.) Find the last 13 words of your second point somewhat ironic considering you keep bringing up Rivals' rankings of the in-state class in 2007 and saying UM failure to land one kid inside their Top 9 is an example of them not being able to get top players in-state that they are after.
HYSTERICAL considering they weren't even after 5 of those kids in that "Top 9". Four of them never even had an offer and one of them had his offer pulled. So I'm just puzzled as to how we're missing all these in-state guys we're after in that Top 9, when UM was only after four of them. How is it that in such a great year for talent UM only offered 10 in-state kids and took 5? Gee, you'd think if it was such a deep year that a school with 20 scholarships to give would offer more than 10 in-state kids.
