a few points:

1. you don't ask for a continuance at arraignment. that's ridiculous.

2. .28 is so high that you could argue for machine error.

3. typically what will happen is you plead not guilty, then strike a deal for a first time offense, waiving the additional penalty for a high test. you don't strike a deal before you enter your original plea.

of course, his BAC was so high that the prosecutor may not yield to a plea without high test penalties attached.
We've all seen the mug shot, if not just google Kevin Grady Mug Shot... anyways, any lawyer who can get him out of charges with that picture alone is a genius. Hell I got drunk just looking at the picture

I wouldn't go that far. It was bad, but it wasn't Nick Nolte Mugshot bad.

There is absolutely no reason for Michigan to lose more than three games. Rich isn't starting from scratch with anything. He's just installing a new offense, and it's already been changed to fit the abilities of the players that are there right now.

I just think it's hilarious that people are going "Haha, Michigan will suck because they don't have a running QB." WTF? This team could have had an explosive offense this year with Ryan I'm a statue Mallett at QB. RichRod doesn't run the spread option unless he has the personnel. His specialty is the spread in general, and when he makes changes to it, everyone else follows two years later, you can ask any head coach in football about that. RichRod is the best there is, and the offense Michigan runs this year will fit to their abilities, and there is no starting from scratch or going .500. I'll be shocked if they lose more than three games.

Haha, this post made me laugh.

1. You can't be more right. At an arraignment, they're only bringing the charges and setting a trial date. It's already being continued to a later date.
2. I agree. However in some states if it's over a certain limit they take blood to ensure the accurate of the FST.
3. Yep. This is a smart guy, probably someone who's either a lawyet or been through the gamut before.

Anyway, I hadn't seen the mugshot, so I googled it. Amazing. I also found this on MGOBLOG or whatever the fuck those sissies call it:

"Why? DUI. Obviously not a stellar moment in Grady's life but his first misstep; likely a short suspension and then a return to normal service. "Normal service" in this case has been three yards followed by a fumble, but hey, you recover those fumbles and it's second and seven and if you're USC that's time to play the V song."

Actually not bad.

Highly touted WR Pat Patterson has committed to Mississippi State...he had Michigan in his top 6. Chris Watt has chosen ND. Thats two prospects off the board...I Know...I know...You never had a shot with Watt and Patterson didn't have an offer. None the less they will not be attending Michigan.

 will you be updating us every time someone commits somewhere besides Michigan, offer or not?

I mean, really. Did you feel like you had to make up for the fact that Newsome probably isn't going to VT like you loudly and frequently predicted?

:rofl::rofl:
Yes I am gonna keep you guys updated as the top prospects on your wish list keep verballing elsewhere...Its very fun BTW.

Patterson is a badass!!! I don't live in the north...word down here is that he is vastly underated. He had Michigan in his top 6. When you have over 1400 yards receiving as a H.S. junior thats saying alot.

I'm sitting here laughing my ass off knowing Michigan will not end up with a top 10 class. Newsome will decommit...its only a matter of time. BTW how was his VT trip:biggrin:

I was looking at your top prospects and started laughing at all the pipe dreams you guys have listed...let me guess the beaver is giving you guys spoonfuls of bullshit over on GBW to get you guys excited. Christ a few weeks ago when that 3 star players commited you guys were acting like you won the Super Bowl.

Berry
Adams
Randall
Hall
Simms
Appleton

Thats just a few pipedreams you guys have...must suck to be in denial...rehab...whatever
