The rumors of Michigan's demise may have been greatly exaggerated.

With Ohio State beating Michigan in the Terrelle Pryor recruiting derby and offensive lineman Justin Boren quitting the program and indicating he might transfer to OSU, some Buckeyes fans may have gotten the impression that the Wolverines are headed down the tubes.

Then Justin Turner, a running back and safety from Massillon Washington who is ranked No. 42 nationally by Rivals.com, committed to Michigan last Friday.
