2007 NFL Draft (Projections/Mock Drafts/Evaluations/Draft)

Alot of good points pointed out on this thread!!! I was wondering why the guys on NFL Network were slurping Leon Hall in anticipation of the DB's combine day and at the same time they were kinda bashing Dwayne Jarret and I thought DJ smoked him in the Rose Bowl if memory serves.

It's great to hear that Pitt and Gonzo are doing so well for themselves. Now if only Troy can lose some of those pounds he has been putting on. It seems as though everything I hear about Troy has been negative especially about his added weight and the fact he wouldn't run at the combine. I hope all the former buckeyes do what it takes to shine at the next level.

Has he really added weight since the season? I know the roster says he was only 210 or something, but I thought he was around 220-225 during the season. It looked to me that he added some bulk last offseason, and I thought that had a lot to do with his adjustment to a throwing QB.
Anyway, it does seem from the media that he's on the slide. They've had one stone or another to grind ever since he started playing though. For the media, it's always something with Troy (he's just a running QB who will be a WR in the NFL, no arm strength, can't throw over the middle, too short, etc.)
I've resolved to just wait until the draft to see where he goes and root for him there.

I read that part of the reason Troy did not run at the Combine is because he felt he needed more time to prepare because he has been on the "buffet circuit" lately. He will run at the tOSU Pro Day.

Yea, that was from an NFLN interview yesterday. He said he's been on the banquet circuit and hasn't had time to train properly for the 40.
I kind f question the advice he's getting from his agent and elsewhere, but I don't think that means he got fat out there.
