I think they lucked into that win though. They played well enough to win, which is a problem for most teams in the playoffs, but the Nash injury and some questionable calls(the inbounds foul was a pretty horrible call IMO. You could make that call in pretty much every inbounds situation, why make it then when the game is in the balance?).

Still, good win, but I wouldn't call it impressive.

There are several calls in every game that fans of the losing team will whine about. The home team wasn't complaining on the questionable charge call they got late in the game when Bell slid in front of Parker and seemed to have a heel on the curved line when contact was made.

Like THEWOOD said, any road playoff win is impressive.

The Spurs can now win the title by only winning home games, and they're the only team in that position.

I guess, I just don't think they played well enough for me to call their win "impressive". Then again, I do have high standards...

I do give them credit for doing enough to win, but I think they got very lucky on some calls and Nash's injury down the stretch. That's all I'm saying.

Actually, if the right people win out, the Cavs are in that position too.

actually, I think BB73's point is that no matter who wins, the Spurs will always have home court against everybody else (except Phoenix which is a moot point after today).

If the right people win out, you could say the same thing about Detroit or Chicago.

Absolutely. My bad, I read it wrong.

The Spurs looked good yesterday, but got lucky with Nash being forced out and a couple of calls. I'm not saying they still wouldn't have won, but neither of those things hurt them.

Your first paragraph does clarify my point.

Although Chicago isn't in the same position as Cleveland, since the Bulls need a win in Detroit to advance out of the current series.

I am not in the boat that the Spurs got lucky...They deserved the win and they outplayed Phx on their homecourt...

I did not like that call late in the game that sent Finley to the line for 1 foul shot...I thought Parker initiated the contact and there was contact from both guys and Parker lost his balance...

If anything I think it is a fault in the rule book...I understand why the rule is there, but I think that should be much like the intential foul call that is made in the game...If a guy is just trying to keep his guy from getting the ball he is not fouling him intentionally, b/c if he wanted to foul that guy he would just let him catch it and then foul him...

glad to see the bulls decided to show up in the 2nd round...:shake:

Yeah they are shooting like shit...It honestly reminds me of what happened with the Cavs and Pistons series last year...The Pistons came out and played amazing in the first 2 games, I think they made 12 3's in one half in game 1...We went down 2-0 but went back to Cleveland and made a series of it...
