Baron Davis strains his hammy, basically playing on 1 leg. The GS fans will use this as the reason they choked the series away, but his hammy was fine when they choked away game 5.

Tis a shame.

Good call. :wink2:

That too.

I'm hoping the time off will get the focused. I also would like them to see the Pistons/Bulls games and realize they're going to have to improve their level of play if they want to beat those teams(and whoever wins the Nets/Raptors series).

I think if they can get out of the next series in say 5 games and Bulls and Pistons beat up on each other we will be right where we want to be much like Miami was last year, when we gave the Pistons everything they wanted and more in that series...

Allow me to clarify.

From the wiki article on NBA MVP:

"MVP voting takes place immediately following the regular season. This is done to judge all players over the same period of time, as opposed to giving more consideration to players who have had a strong playoff performance."

Playoffs currently are not a criterion. An argument can be made for Nash, but it wouldn't be a landslide.

And if the voters were really honest, it would probably be Tim Duncan every year. But no one cares about NBA players being great at both offense and defense.

Agreed. It's a joke that Dirk and Nash are even in the discussion for MVP. Hell even Kobe deserves more than those 2 clowns.

I agree 100%. The MVP should be Duncan every year if they really factored in what all he does for his team. He is still one of the most underrated players in the NBA. Just because he isn't flashy or a thug, he gets very little attention.

Well the second round in the East is all set, after a great game between Toronto and NJ tonite...If the guy from Toronto would of just put that pass a little higher, Bosh had the guy sealed for a dunk and a win to force game 7...

Afer finding out that the Pistons/Bulls series starts today I'm glad the Nets closed it out. It doesn't seam fair that they would get a game or 2 into their series before the Cavs wouldn't even get to start theirs.

That was a horrible pass.

I love Tim Duncan as much as the next guy, but the MVP isn't about most well rounded player or most consistent, it's most valuable.

If you've seen the Suns play at all this year, you not only know how good they are but also how important Nash is to their success.

I do agree that he is terribly underrated by the media though.

T-Mac shows yet again he's the most overrated chump in the league.

Disappears the last 5 minutes of the game. He has the ball down 4 w/ 20 seconds left. Basically dances around like a fucking moron for 10 seconds before scoring a layup with 9 seconds left.

THen Deron Williams has the ball and is waiting for T-Mac to foul him. And T-Mac doesn't. The ROckets don't foul the Jazz until 2 seconds are left. Ball game.

0 for 6 dumbass. :slappy:

 to Boozer. One of the best in the league

pathetic to hear the TNT guys say they feel sorry for him. Hey, Chuck, in the offseason maybe you, Ewing, and Karl Malone and meet with T-Mac and discuss how can still be a hall of famer despite choking in the playoffs time and time again.
