Barton, Laurinaitis lead opening act for OSU

COLUMBUS -- Offensive tackle Kirk Barton had plenty of company when he lined up for Ohio State's team photo Thursday, but part of him couldn't help feeling all alone during Media Day activities in Ohio Stadium. "I was like the lowest-rated guy. Who knew I'd be the only one left?" said Barton, the lone remaining member of the 2003 recruiting class and the only fifth-year senior on the roster.

Last year's 12-1 team had 18 seniors, 17 of them fifth-year players whose veteran leadership paved the way to an outright Big Ten title and berth in the national championship game.
