The video shows a lot of one on one work by the East linemen. Trattou looks especially good...he looks like one of the best DEs there. James Wilson dominated Martez Wilson in one clip. Marvin Austin is a freak and shows a lot of emotion in each drill (he schools Anthony Davis in one match-up...Wilson handled him much better). Martin looks good, if not a bit undersized...his strength is what he gets by with right now and you can see the potential. Barksdale looks like a poor man's Austin, but plays extremely low for a big guy. Chris Jacobsen looks HUGE. Martez Wilson may really be better suited as a WR...he is very fast and kind of skinny for a DE at the next level. He will have the option of bulking up and playing DE or staying slim and playing WR/TE. I know he says he is going to play both ways, but so do a lot of kids coming out of HS. He and Martin could almost pass for twins...Martin is a bit shorter with the same weight (meaning his frame looks more like a DEs whereas Wilson, with his height, looks likes he has the frame to stay at WR).

I do know that Davis held his own with Austin when they faced each other in the NIKE combine in Jersey this summer. Not sure how he is doing this week but he did exceptional against him in the summer, which was a big reason why he is ranked as high as he is.

Mike Farrell's update on practice...nice comments about Green and Barksdale. Great comments about Martin and Wright. Davis does not receive high marks.

Several people have commented that Gene does not look as big as they thought he was, but is playing well.

Davis' weight and speed have been called into question by several people and after watching the videos I have to agree.

No one knows at this point so we are asking that people just wait this one out and see what happens. There are tons of rumors and speculation running this time of year. I don't want to even speculate at this point as all it does is set people up for disappointment. The fact of the matter is that three players are likely to announce at the game that are considering OSU...Martin, Barksdale and Davis (Martin is not 100% yet). We will all know where they are headed soon enough.

Wright, Gronkowski, Hines and Ronald Johnson will likely be announcing closer to Signing Day. Like the previous poster said, new names could pop up in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, let's keep this thread for AA game updates.

These are just my assumptions but here are the top 5 guys I think we have a shot at getting at the army all american game or at a later date and I believe we have a great shot at all.

-Wright is between UF and OSU and has positive things to say about attending the game and already knows where he's headed sayings it's an easy pick.
-Thompson lists 4 but is really down to UF, Miami and OSU and had some good stuff to say about Major Wright at the army all american practices but doesn't like our weather.
-Davis is between Rutgars and OSU but I believe the game atmosphere has hopefully put us over the top.
-Martin mostly between OSU, UF and ND
-Barksdale is down to OSU, MSU and LSU not really sure about this one but i feel we are in pretty decent shape.

Since you went ahead and posted this stuff, let me clear up where you are a bit mistaken. You are correct that OSU has a shot for each of them, but Martin is the only one I can see choosing OSU this weekend.

Miami is VERY much a player for Wright. His decision will likely come down to OSU, Miami and Florida with Hankerson in his ear about Miami.
Thompson is not likely to leave the South other than for USC. He practicaly said he was going to Florida tonight.
Despite what I have heard for my source, Davis does not appear to be favoring OSU.
Martin is for all intents and purposes down to OSU and Florida.
Barksdale does not appear to be favoring OSU.

That about covers all of OSU's targets at the AA game. Green is still in the mix but we won't know much until he shows up for his visit.
