2007-2008 Ohio State Fencing: National Champions

It's not over yet, but it's now:

171 - tOSU
166 - ND

:oh:

Another update, with I believe only 12 men's epee matches remaining for both tOSU and ND.

175 - tOSU
168 - ND

Time to warm up these guys (thanks to Nutty):

Don't know much about fencing...but I know quite a bit about the love of all things Buckeye!

This is awesome! Congrats to the entire team!

Now go share this amazing feeling with your fellow student-athletes (most notebly our fooball Buckeyes) and put some more fire in their bellies. As if our guys need any more motivation.

Monday, March 17, 2008 4:42 AM

Andras Horanyi won gold in men's foil for the second straight year and Ohio State captured its second NCAA championship in five years yesterday in St. John Arena. Mikhail Momtselidze took silver in saber for Ohio State. Building on the performance of the OSU women Thursday and Friday, the Buckeyes outdistanced Notre Dame 185 to 176.
