No. 5 UCLA 69, Washington 55 -- Russell Westbrook scored 18 points and UCLA (15-1, 3-0) beat Washington (9-6, 0-2) in a Pacific-10 game in Los Angeles.
UCLA got 17 points from Luc Richard Mbah a Moute in winning its eighth in a row.
No. 14 Butler 74, Wis.-Green Bay 65 -- Matt Howard had 22 points and nine rebounds, and Butler (15-1, 4-1) beat Horizon League rival Wisconsin-Green Bay (9-6, 3-2) in Indianapolis for its seventh straight win.
Mike Green scored 18 points, A.J. Graves had 13 and Willie Veasley had seven points and a career-high 11 rebounds for Butler.

No. 15 Pittsburgh 69, No. 5 Georgetown 60 -- Ronald Ramon and Keith Benjamin each scored 18 points to lead Pittsburgh over visiting Georgetown in a Big East game last night.
Freshman DeJuan Blair had 15 points and nine rebounds to help Pitt (15-2, 3-1) stretch its home-court winning streak to 13 games.
Jonathan Wallace had 14 points for Georgetown (13-2, 3-1).

No. 3 Kansas 85, Okla-homa 55 -- Darnell Jackson scored 17 points and Brandon Rush 16 to lead Kansas (17-0, 2-0) to a Big 12 victory over Oklahoma (12-5, 0-2) in Lawrence, Kan.

Notre Dame 91, Cincinnati 74 -- Luke Harangody scored 24 of his 25 points in the second half and Kyle McAlarney scored 22 to help Notre Dame shake off a poor-shooting first half and beat Cincinnati last night in a Big East game in South Bend, Ind.

The Fighting Irish (13-3, 3-1) had trailed only a total of 6:13 in 10 home games all season, but the Bearcats (8-9, 3-2) led most of the way until Notre Dame went on a 17-2 run with 16 minutes left to take control.

No. 1 North Carolina 83, Georgia Tech 82 -- Tyler Hansbrough scored 27 points and made a crucial block in the closing seconds and North Carolina (18-0, 3-0) held on to beat Georgia Tech (7-9, 0-3) in an Atlantic Coast Conference game in Atlanta.
Danny Green put the Tar Heels ahead by making one of two free throws with 22 seconds remaining. Zack Peacock's shot was then blocked by Hansbrough. Peacock retrieved the loose ball and got off a jumper that rimmed out.

Massachusetts 82, No. 14 Dayton 71 -- Ricky Harris scored 22 points and Chris Lowe had 19 to lead Massachusetts (12-4, 1-1) over host Dayton (14-2, 2-1) in the Atlantic 10, snapping the Flyers' 13-game winning streak.

Tonights game between Ohio and Akron on ESPNU should be fun. Ohio is coming off a huge win over Miami and could really boost its tourney chances with a win tonight.

Cleveland St. 56, No. 12 Butler 52 -- Cedric Jackson scored 14 points and Cleveland State stunned Butler last night in the Horizon League for its first regular-season win over a top 25 team.
J'Nathan Bullock scored 14 points, the last one coming on a free throw with 2.6 seconds left for Cleveland State, whose students stormed the floor after the final horn.
The Vikings (13-5, 6-0) came in 1-26 in games against ranked opponents, with their only win coming on March 14, 1986, against No. 16 Indiana in the NCAA Tournament under coach Kevin Mackey.

Maryland 82, No. 1 North Carolina 80 -- Bambale Osby scored inside with 21 seconds left to help Maryland stun top-ranked North Carolina yesterday in an Atlantic Coast Conference game in Chapel Hill, N.C., handing the Tar Heels their first loss of the season.

James Gist finished with 22 points and 13 rebounds for the Terrapins (12-7, 2-2).
