Well Stadium and Main seems to have an irrational obsession with the scintilla of a fraction of a point that Tressel voting or not voting would make.

I understand hurt feelings due to polls - Buckeyes Rose Bowl and the Joe Germaine led 2-minute march comes to mind, but really, taking Tressel to task when his voting or not voting makes no odds is simply over-sensitive.

The fact that JT could not vote shows the absurdity of college football.

What if all 63 voters decided not to vote? What then?

JT should have been forced to turn a ballot in. This isn't an election. In figure skating, a judge cannot choose not to vote.

In past years, teams have been voted as co-champs by a voter (sometimes you'll see a team have 15 1/2 first place votes and another team have 30 1/2). Why couldn't JT vote scUM and Florida co-#2 and then vote LSU #4.

Just stupid.

Is there any chance the Rose bowl could select LSU? I would enjoy watching the Big 10 humilate the SEC this bowl season.

This is where it gets funny. They could select LSU, but not vs. scUM, instead over scUM, to play USC. Now, that would be funny.
