They've been doing it since week 1 and I want to know where they live so I can go over there and kick them in the balls.

I don't care about kicking them in the balls. (Though, I certainly won't lift a finger to stop you from doing so.) I would, however, love to hear their reasoning.

I'd also like to see the computer formulas and see why they pick Michigan ahead of Ohio State (not that that matters, really).

I WAS planning on just watching West Virginia - Louisville for the sake of a big game. But now I'm rooting for Louisville. I wonder if those votes will go to Louisville, in that case? Or maybe to Michigan? Are the voters anti-Ohio State, I wonder?

Louisville, W. Virginia benefit from loss

By TOM STUBER - IR Sports Writer - 10/31/2006

Both Bobby Petrino's Louisville Cardinals and the West Virginia Mountaineers were benefactors of the Southern Cal loss to Oregon State last week. The Cardinals moved up one spot to No. 5 in the Associated Press poll, while the Mountaineers are now No. 3 in the nation.

The Cardinals are also No. 5 in this week's BCS poll and West Virginia is No. 3. The BCS poll determines the teams that will play for the national title. Should Louisville beat West Virginia they would jump over No. 4 Florida and be in line to play for the title assuming they don't slip up in the following weeks.

Since Michigan and Ohio State would be the only other undefeated teams in the country and they still have to play each other, the Louisville-West Virginia winner will be in great position to advance to Glendale, Ariz., for the national championship.

Petrino is hoping the third time is the charm for his family when taking on a Rich Rodriguez-coached team. Rodriguez is the West Virginia head coach, and he faced Bob Petrino Sr. - Bobby's dad - in the NAIA playoffs in Helena when he was the coach at Glenville State. Glenville won that game 41-24.

Last season West Virginia and Louisville played one of the best games of the 2005 season with Rodriguez and the Mountaineers coming out on top in that one 46-44 in triple overtime.

Meyer campaigns for Gators

CAMPAIGN SEASON
UF coach Urban Meyer won't talk about Florida's chances to win a national title and refuses to answer any questions about the BCS, but he finally did stand up for the Gators, who are fourth in the BCS rankings behind Ohio State, Michigan and West Virginia.
Meyer said one reason his offense has sputtered lately is because Florida has played some of the top defenses in the nation -- LSU, Georgia, Alabama and Auburn.
''We've played several [of the top defenses], '' Meyer said. ``Ohio State doesn't have any. Michigan doesn't have any. What's the correlation between that? If you've ever played this game or coached this game or understand this game, the correlation between you're really good and I have to go against you, it's not going to be as easy. If you're awful I'll kick your teeth in. If you're not, we're going to battle a little bit.''

Wow that's hilarious. Georgia's defense the last three games: 51 to Tennessee, 24 to Vanderbilt, 24 to Miss. State. Florida played Alabama over a month ago. Maybe the SEC defenses look so "great" because their offenses are so horrible.
