Johnson didn't win the Bednarik last year? Now I feel better that Hawk didn't win the award chosen by high school drop outs.

Hawk. 109 tackles, 13 TFL, 7.5 sacks, 1 INT, 1 Fumble recovery, 2 fumbles forced, 1 TOUCHDOWN

I'm sure those extra two tackles really made the difference, huh?

Yeah, Mr. Have-Another-Drink was a riot with Posluszny's name, but Lee Corso gets the "take the shot glass out of your mouth before speaking" award. Seeing him call Greg Blue "Greg B***********mumble" was classic.

Yeah. You'd think that if you were going to give an award, or at least talk for a couple minutes on stage, you'd practice what you have to say a few times. Especially names that are difficult to say.

But I stand by my comment that Pos sounds like a doof. Though maybe I shouldn't be pointing fingers (I think there are three fingers pointing back at me).

These people just like to spread the wealth. Was Hawk or Pos even up for the Nagurski ?? Hawk got the Butkus, that's the important thing. That's why Vince got the O'brien & Maxwell. Leinart already has a Heisman, Bush is getting it this year, and who knows if Vince will return next year or not. If VY stays, he'll have a shot at the Heisman next year, but I doubt he'd get the O'brien or Max again. I agree with the Max, but I personally thought the O'brien should go somewhere else this year.

Yes, it is spreading the wealth.
People and fans aren't giving A.J. enough credit for winning the Lombardi!
Just look at all the fine competition Hawk beat.
Winning the Lombardi is a major accomplishment.
And it's a cool trophy.

Hawk got the Lombardi.

I don't think they have even gave the Butkus out yet(?).
