we got robbed - end of story <HR>it doesn't help that at the 9 minute point of the 4'th quarter i turned to my Dad (while Michigan still had an 11 point lead) and told him that we'll lose.
speaks volumes of our ability to close out games.
so why did we lose this game? officiating. only game i've ever seen that should actually come under protest.
say all you want about what we should have done...but as a believer in chaos theory,..too many bad calls created insurmountable odds and way too many variables for michigan to overcome.

that was the worst game i've ever seen. it was an embarrassment to D1 football. i'd be embarrassed to be a husker fan.

What about the time Michigan got an extra second on the clock and beat State at the end of the game? Hmm?

Oops...I have the teams reversed. Never mind. </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

I bet if you told a Michigan fan at the beginning of this year that a thread about the "Sun Belt coordinator of football officials e-mail address" would be front and center on their board in December, they would have laughed at you :slappy:

our favorite coach is in serious trouble... what's even more sickening about this development is that his whines are legitimate after this game.

Sorry jw, but his whines are NOT legitimate. With the difference in talent, they never should have been in a position for officiating to make a difference. Anyone say the Huskers were more up for this game? Why? Callahan is a mediocre coach at best and you and your staff couldn't outscheme him? Pathetic. They lost that game themselves, not the officials. LLLLLoyd can whine all he wants, but he has no legs to stand on. Oh, and not shaking Callahans hand at the end of the game is inexcusible. Jerkoff.

I don't know man...having to burn timeouts they could have used at the end to get reviews, especially on the obvious drop in the endzone, is a pretty legit beef, I think. Also not blowing the play clock running for about 10-12 seconds on 4th down was pretty bad too. They could have had 3 plays instead of 1.

I think this debacle might actually help their recruiting.

There might be some HS JV kids that could start for that team. There'll be some kids out there that want the early PT. It could be mighty attractive to a kid to hear that they could be the focal point for scUM's return to their three-loss glory days.

Yea I guess I didn't tell anyone this. scUM offered me as a freshman last year. My coach said don't do it.
