2005-2006 Latest Men's Basketball Rankings (Currently #6)

YEESSSSS!!!!!

Dook goes down for the second game in a row! i love it!

UConn has just taken over the #1 overall seed in the NCAA Tourney...

i wonder if Duke loses early in the ACC Tourney, will they lose their 1 seed...

Will Duke drop out of the top 5?

Nope. But it's kind of arbitrary really at this point as the tourney's are coming up. Yeah, they'll get seeded higher, but when they come up against the stronger teams they'll bow out. Reddick is wearing down, and without him, as has been proven in the last 10 days, Dook is pretty ordinary. Our Buckeye's are starting to get some media love. On gameday this morning, I think it was Bilas who said he thought UConn was the best team in the country, but he said tOSU was one of the teams that could knock them off.

I believe tOSU can play with any of the teams ranked ahead of them and we all know in the tournament, anything is possible.

Will Duke drop out of the top 5?

No. They struggled last night but they have two of the best players in the game today, they will be dangerous in the tournament.

Just for a little reality check...who, and I mean WHO thought we would even be thinking about the POSSIBILITY of a #1 seed going into the tourney last fall?

I think we were all hoping for a shot at the Big Ten and getting in the tourney.

well hopefully the unbearable emotional strain will have passed reddick by then :roll2:... otherwise he might be headed for more struggles down the stretch.

Florida State beat them too this week... how many times do they have to lose before they can be dropped to #5? Keep in mind this was far from an abberation, FSU lost by a point @ duke.
