2005-2006 Latest Men's Basketball Rankings (Currently #6)

OSU can hang with anyone on a good day. There is no one standout above the rest team. There's no UNLV of old, or fab 5. Heck I'm not impressed with UCONN at all, I watched them barely get by LSU and; if you can contain Reddick OSU can match-up well with Duke. Dials would have to play better on Willams than he did on Courtney Sims.

Joe Lunardi has us as a #2 seed right now, playing the first two rounds in Dayton. That would be awesome. If Ohio State plays at UD Arena, that place will be JAM PACKED with Buckeye fans!!! And that place gets A LOT louder than the Schott.

As a 3 seed we could also end up in Dayton. As a 2 seed we'd be in UConn's bracket most likely, and as a 3 seed we'd be in Duke's. Cuz they would likely put Duke in Greensboro, and UConn in Philly.
OSU being a #2 is already in UConn's bracket who is going to Philly. They changed the way they do the seeds a few years ago and it's stupid. UConn will be in Philly no matter what, Duke will be in Greensboro no matter what (like they are every year), Texas will be in Dallas no matter what, Nova will be in Philly no matter what. Florida will probably be in Jacksonville, OSU will probably be in Dayton, Pitt will probably be in Dayton.

Regional seeding sucks. It makes it impossible to get a ticket.

Yeah I think the top two seeds should be the only ones they worry about and then after that you get put where you get put.

The latest bracketology (2/20) has OSU back up to a 2 seed. They got bumped down to a 3 seed in favor of Pitt for the 2/17 edition. In either case they will most likely be playing in Dayton....barring a huge collapse.
