JJ Arrington. The only reason why he's not getting more of a national look (ie from writers, etc) is because he plays for a team no one has seen play - cept twice, v. USC and So. Miss. That and the fact that he plays on the same team as Aaron Rodgers. Which makes little sense since Peterson and White and Bush and Lienert do as well.


I cannot, and will not, accept the following: "Jason White - two time Heisman winner" They gave White the Heisman last season over the more deserving Larry Fitzgerald only because White was supposed to be out of football by now. (Granted a 6th year due to medical redshirt)

Leinart

I went Leinart this year. It may be Peterson, next year Peterson will be the favorite but and a big but if tOSU keeps using the spread Teddy Ginn could capture the imagination of the nation....he is the most electrfying player tOSU has ever had!!!!

I would say the same could be said for Jason Campbell and Auburn. Does anyone think that without his performance this year (especially after yesterdays shootout with Tennessee) that Auburn would be headed to the Sugar Bowl?

Well BuckeyeFlorida there is no doubt in my mind that without Campbell's performance yesterday Auburn would have had big problems holding off an inspired Vols squad.

Why I voted for Bush over Campbell (and others) is because it wasn't just that one game - and I lean to difference makers for the Heisman - simply a bias I acknowledge. (And BTW, we likely agree Bush had a hell of a game vs the Bruins).

You're right, we do agree about Bush and I can understand your bias towards difference makers. However, ESPN (in spite of what we think of them in regards to tOSU), ran an interesting statistic last night on Sportscenter. Aginst top ten teams, USC is 2-0, OU is 3-0, and Auburn is 4-0 and guess which two teams had the largest margin of victory in those top ten wins. USC and Auburn (both were in the double digits 25-35) and OU average margin of victory was 7. 7! You mean to tell me they're the 2nd best team in the country.
I apologize for my digression, but it supports my stance that as a team Auburn and as individuals have gotten and continue to get very little recognition for the job they did this year. They also came in with the least expectations of the three and rose

I guess I feel Auburn is getting the same treatment from the coaches and media that tOSU got in 2002. I like underdogs!

Fuck the Homo fags. Sure they can score 70 on Baylor, and rack up 800 yards, but we will see how Jayson "snaggle tooth" white does when he runs up against a good defense. Seemes like last year when ole snaggle tooth played a good defense he got beat, and looked very average. I will look forward to seeing him get embarrassed.

USC is going 1,2 in the voting here. If you guys want to talk about which player is most important to their teams sucess, I think I'd have to go with Alex Smith. Without him I think Utah isn't even a top 25 team.

Is there going to be any sort of vBet set up for the Heisman? That would be kind of fun.

Gonna say Reggie Bush........sad thing is, he doesnt touch the ball THAT much, cause USC has so many weapons, but when he touches it.......wow. You have one of the best QB's in the country and Bush still racks up 1400 yards of offense, albeit alot of that was catching Leinart's passes.
