Zwick is Mr. Clean cut all-American.

I guess I don't understand the bile you have towards Zwick. I also don't see anyone claiming he's anything he's not. My only point is that I'd rather see us stick with someone than bounce back and forth. If we name Smith our starter next week, then I want to see us stick with him through thick and thin. We need to be preparing someone for the future here, and bouncing back and forth only delays that.

It has nothing to do with black and white, which is what it gets reduced to with comments like this. Zwick is no golden boy, he's just currently our starter. Smith isn't the answer to all our problems, he's just currently our #2. I'm behind both of them, and just want SOMEONE to learn and mature as quickly as humanly possible. That's done through overcoming adversity and taking control of their team.

Go Bobby Carpenter. Like I said, not like we don't know how to pull these games out. Same shit, different week. Just sit back and enjoy it as best you can. If they lose, they lose. I want to win as much as anyone, but at some point as OSU fans, we just have to not sweat the close ones as much as other teams do.

One (of a number) of reasons I wouldn't mind seeing Smith step up and start next week, Zwick still at times seems oblivious to the position of defenders. Case in point, Jeff Backus.
