This team has taken on Tressel's persona completely. They are a thinking team, but not at all aggressive. They have very little fire. This is not about youngsters playing. This is about a team that has little personality. Little in the way of excitement and flair. And almost zero emotion.

They just play. Thats about it. Nothing extra. Nothing special.

They just play.

Thanks grad, and it sounds like he's 6/8 despite a drop by Ginn, for which he is forgiven for a punt return that they did highlight on the Okla St - OU game.

I think that when smith has thrown he has looked good, and I dont mind that scrambles alot ... its better than alot of pics.

I agree. He has a cannon. Both incompletions were drops

I have to say that even though things haven't looked pretty, we have had some success on the ground. Even if its only 3-4 yards, we haven't been stopped behind the line very much, and that is a big improvement in my opinion.

That's at least twice now that PSU has ran the game clock past zero and not got called.....

How was that not intentional grounding....

Intentional Grounding is on a pass play, the play was ruled a lateral and not a pass.

I have been recording the games and watching them when I get home from work.... I didn't get the game on TV today and my dad forgot to tape it off gameplan and he is at work too. So we are both out of luck today!

*snickers* id worry, id worry alot. eventually people are going to stop punting to us. when that stops we're going to stop scoring period. i haven't seen anything from smith that impresses me (not his fault). we are flat out not getting this kid ready for some very tough games which are coming up.

I agree, we didn't see anything from Smith other than his running ability that would make me put him ahead of Zwick. On the same token, he wasn't give much of an opportunity to show and neither was Pittman for some reason.

I think Pittman would've gotten the carries the rest of the way had we not lost the fumble on the 26.
