Game Thread #2 tOSU at #3 Oregon, Sat. Oct. 12, 7:30 pm ET, NBC

Apparently Jordan Burch was injured in practice. Even Carted off the field.

Was then reported he was knicked up and didn’t return as a precaution. At the very least if he plays you double team him until he taps out. He won’t be 100%.

It will be interesting to see if the reports are true and how true they are. Prep for him to play and anything less than him at 100% is an advantage.

I'd argue expecting a 30-point win on the road, across the country, at one of the loudest stadiums in the country against the #3 team is arrogant to the point of foolishness. They aren't some middling B1G team with average talent. I can envision a scenario where we blow them out, but that isn't the most probable one.
I'd argue you're suspect

Fuck a duck. Bucks by 35

Offense: If we can run the ball early, we win. Control time of possession, tire their defense out and then go for the throat in the second half. I'm convinced Chip used Iowa as a dress rehearsal for Oregon.

Defense: Rattle Gabriel early. He loves to run outside the pocket since he is a midget and can't see over the OL. We have to punish him early and make him think twice about scrambling around. He can get wild and make mistakes. Hopefully the MSU game wasn't him getting it out of his system.
