Well it wasnt a jinx. Boys just kinda sucked tonight.

Not having your best shooter always hurts. Having an entire week off between games seems to hurt as well.

Next time we play a team with a Carr on it, someone needs to elbow the bastard right in the mouth during warmups so we don't have to worry about him! Sheesh

andre and luther each played 29 minutes. each grabbed 0 rebounds. ej played 20 minutes and grabbed 5.

in the postgame presser, ho1tmann pinpointed a lack of toughness. that's a good place to start.

Terrible. I gave them the opportunity to make a run to start the second half and was out when that didn't happen. Looks like I didn't miss anything. Oh well, no number one ranking this week. Let's hope they can refocus coming out of this.

It seemed that the Buckeyes would get a good look, shoot, and miss. Then Minny would get the rebound, go down the court, get the same shot, and swish it. Some days are like that.

Not worried at all. This team had a week off and it showed. Not having Washington out there hurt but this team did not come to play and simply got outplayed. Hell, Kaleb looked like the Kaleb from the previous two years. One thing that I like is two of our freshman played very well. D.J. and E.J. are the reasons this game wasn't a complete blow out.

He is important but it's not just that. I said early in this thread I had some concerns about this game before we even knew he was going to be out.

This is what college basketball is like. I will be rooting hard for Northwestern to complete the circle against MSU and finish the B1G season appetizer course with EVERYONE sitting at 1-1.

I'm with you. Just a really off night, this team will be fine. Disappointing loss, but it's a long season. Regroup and return to dominance.
