Watching a replay on "BTN in 60" of November 30.
If we cover passes and rush like we did in the first half of that one, sheesh.
Get Chase away from the triple-teams or scheme how to get his other linemates through.

Can we run the ball well and keep the ball out of their play-makers' hands?
Frankly, tired of waiting. Suit up and let's kick this thing off.

P.S. I enjoyed vetting that Courvoisier so much, that I'm gonna buy another bottle and repeat that purely academic study.

No doubt. That first half was an aberration and can't be repeated.

As for Chase, it's time to play 4-2-5, and stand Chase up behind the line in different blitz packages. And zone blitz where he covers in hot route lanes. I expect some Steve Miller INT TD impressions.

Mark May Gives Score Prediction For Ohio State vs. Clemson

Screen-Shot-2017-04-27-at-7.12.01-PM-775x465.png

Mark May is no longer on ESPN every day, but he’s still finding a way to troll Ohio State fans nonetheless. Wednesday, he gave his score prediction for the upcoming game between the Buckeyes and the Clemson Tigers.

Dave Briggs of The Toledo Blade caught up with May, who had a few choice words for Ohio State supporters. Briggs asked May for his score prediction for the Fiesta Bowl as well.

May joked that he’s always loved Ohio State fans before taking it back. He also took a shot at the Buckeyes for failing to score against the Tigers in the playoff three years ago.

As for his prediction, he’s going with Clemson – by a score of 38-7.

While the Tigers are favored, it’s only by a few points. Most expect the game to be fairly close. Clearly, May does not.

May, for years, has picked against the Buckeyes. It hasn’t always worked out well, but he’s continued to do it. As a result, most Ohio State fans aren’t very fond of him.

Anybody shocked that he is still an asshole?

I predict that he will, per usual, have his mouth slammed shut by five guys:

Ohio Against the World!

I really wanted that Bama game in the CFP, BUT! this game against Clemson is a game I want the Buckeyes to win as much as any game against TTUN. The Buckeyes owe them. 0-5 against teams from South Carolina needs to end Saturday. Dabo needs kicked in the dick for all of this BS he is talking about disrespect. 2 seed or 3 seed was all you were ever going to get you fucking fake preacher wannabe WEE-WEE!

The last time I lived in Colorado the Buckeyes took a 3rd string QB to a National Championship. Well, I am back in the Sunshine State and about to crank John Denver to 11. Go Buckeyes!

Thanks. Fixed it for you.

Meyer: Ohio State-Clemson haven't faced "anything close to what they're getting ready to go against"

Former head coach Urban Meyer thinks both Ohio State and Clemson are in for a challenge when they meet Saturday in the Fiesta Bowl.

Meyer, who is covering the game as an analyst for Fox, said the key will be how the players respond in the first seven minutes or first few possessions.

“They have not faced, other than practice, neither team has faced anything close to what they're getting ready to go against,” Meyer said.

Justin Fields goes mum on knee ailment

Two days after telling reporters that his left knee was merely "80-85 percent" healthy, Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields was no longer addressing the situation.

"I'm not going to talk about my knee at all today," Fields told Bucknuts at Fiesta Bowl media day on Thursday.

Reading between the lines, it sure seems like head coach Ryan Day or another OSU coach was not happy that Fields was broadcasting to everyone -- including the Buckeyes' opponent, Clemson -- about his injury.

Fields suffered a sprained MCL late in the regular season, which forced him to wear knee braces that limited his mobility. Fields wore both a standard knee brace, and a much more bulky one. The latter is the one that gives him the most problems when he's trying to run, but it also provides the best support for his knee.

When asked if he is moving well, Fields nodded his head affirmatively.

The 6-foot-3, 223-pound Fields is enjoying an excellent season for the No. 2 Buckeyes (13-0). The sophomore has thrown for 2,953 yards (67.5 completion percentage) with your typical 40-to-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio. (All right, not typical at all.) He has also rushed for 471 yards and 10 TDs.

Fields was named the Big Ten's offensive player of the year, and was one of four finalists for the Heisman Trophy.

One thing Fields was more than happy to discuss on Thursday is his affection for playing for Day.

"It's great," Fields said. "I think Coach Day is very specific when it comes to details and things like that. Coach Day puts all the details into every play and I think it gives a player a better feel for what you need to do in that particular play. So, kind of just doing that helps me out a lot.

"And then off the field, Coach Day is a great guy. A great family person. He's a loose guy off the field and likes to have fun. And he's just a great guy overall."

Bucknuts asked if Day was a big reason Fields transferred to Ohio State, given what Day did with Dwayne Haskins in 2018.

"Yeah, that definitely was a big reason," Fields said. "I thought I could excel in this offense. So, just seeing the success that Dwayne had last year, I think Coach Day knows how to design the offense around the strengths of his players. So, I think he does a great job with that."

It has been a whirlwind year for Fields, who was playing for Georgia at this time last season. But he has taken everything in stride.

"I just try and not get too high and not get too low," Fields said. "Because I think everything happens for a reason, so just facing that adversity and going through that, it helped me a lot as a person and also as a football player. So, going through that, I really don't get rattled very much. So, it definitely made me a stronger person."

Really looking forward to seeing Okudah, Arnette and Wade match up with Ross, Rodgers and Higgins. Hopefully the refs let them play a little and aren’t calling a bunch of ticky-tac PI penalties.

Also, Clemson uses Etienne catching passes out of the backfield a lot (3rd most receptions on the team). I wonder what the defensive game plan is for that. Is Werner going to be primarily responsible for covering Etienne?

It's interesting that Clemson has only given up only 13 sacks all year. That is ridiculous. If it is the ACC competition they may be in for a surprise. We are going to have to find a way to disrupt Lawrence. Hopefully multiple times.
When they face the teams they have, they run as successfully as they do, and they have as mobile a QB as they do that'll happen.

Would not be shocked if we get 4-5 on them though. Depends on stopping their back though.

He’s a Kardashian. If people would stop paying attention to them they would eventually go away.
