Some of it is playing better teams, but yeah, losing Wade and then Okudah for a half was obviously an issue. I feel like people acknowledge the fact, but not the consequences.
This D wasn't going to hold everyone to 10 points for the rest of the year anyway. Yes Clemson presents issues, and if the LBs aren't sharper and the tackling doesn't improve it'll be hard to win. But with time off I think they'll be more ready than they were against Wisconsin.
Werner on Clemsons tight end also scares me.
Lawerence more accurate and probably more time to throw. Werner great in a phone booth down the field don’t know.Shouldn’t scare you more than Harrison Bryant or Pat Freiermuth and Pete did great against them.

Buckeye fans are such babies, crying about "three tough games in a row".
Just count your blessings you didn't have to run the SEC gauntlet.
The Bucks could have had to face Vandy, Mizzu, and Tennecheat. Or worse. Just think about being in the SEC West and having to play Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Miss St?
No wonder they have to throw in an FCS game in there before they try to take on a rival.
I don't disagree with much of any he said with a nitpick exception that Lawrence is the best player in college football. I would argue he is probably the second best. Etienne not getting invites is BS, he is probably the best back in the country.
Dabo and Venables haven't "Clemsoned" in quite a few years. They have obviously grown, learned, and evolved into an Elite staff from their recent recruiting, player development, and past results. Day and Hafley have a monumental task at hand. We do not have near the track record of coaching in big time games with Day. The small sample size we have had is encouraging and leads me to believe they are capable of coaching our team at a high level. The coaches are going to have to have their best game of the year, including if they win and face LSU/OU. We can make mistakes and beat both of those teams. We aren't going to be able to afford many mistakes if any and win this one.
Hopefully Day has some wrinkles, we play fast, and spread the ball around. Hopefully Fields doesn't put it on the ground and plays at his highest level of the year. Teams seem to have come up with a couple of solutions to slow the Predator down, we need to counter with some new looks to get him one on one opportunities. This is the most encouraged I have been going into a big game in a long time. I love Urban, but we know we aren't going to rely on the QB sweep or draw on 3rd and 8.
Not at all. Let's see after he faces a bona fide defense for the first time this year. You think Trevor Lawrence is the 2nd best player in college football?
