Then there should be 3-4 more Clemson and OSU players ejected. If an offensive players ducks his head right before contact, it's not a penalty. You can review and watch till the cows cond home, but you cannot possibly expect any defender to adjust st the last second. And you can go back and retroactively review about 8 other plays that half and kick out more starters.

That foul was put in place to decrease headhunting and launching at guys' heads. Not to pause and review 10 plays from multiple angles and hand out ejections

Show me the replay where he lowered his head more than a couple inches.

As to your second point, I wholehaertedly agree. I said them’s the rules. Not them’s should be the rules.

I honestly think the D is fine outside of 1 or 2 plays. I'm looking at Fields, he's thrown some really bad passes especially on that wide open pass to Dobbins for what should have been an easy TD. Hopefully he comes out and balls out the second half.
Eh it's not fields it's people gotta catch. There were 2 or 3 bad throws. He lead Dobbins by a hair stll should have caught it. Hit KJ in the facemask should have been another TD and on the same drive hits Dobbs flat in the hands when he should have run for days and he drops it.

it's one thing to call wade's hit a penalty. it is quite another to eject him for it. to treat those two targeting penalties as the same is absurd. the oklahoma player deserved ejection. wade didn't deserve the flag, but sure as hell didn't deserve to be ejected.

the targeting rule is not going to be removed, but it should be adjusted to reflect some sense of equity.
