#2 Ohio State 85, Minnesota 67 (Final)

I got the damn Duke game instead. Does that make any sense? Why the fuck would I get and east coast game instead of a midwest game if I live on the west coast!?!? Sorry, but I'm pissed I missed the game.

Conley is a beast. 'Nuff said.

That's too bad but I feel you. I'm on the east coast and thus get all the east coast err Duke games on tv. Haven't watched one all season.

Lineup change works for OSU

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

MINNEAPOLIS ? The competition evidently has been ratcheting up behind the closed doors of the practice gym, where only those involved are allowed to watch the Ohio State men?s basketball team work.
All that leaked out were some occasional, innocuous comments about how gritty practices had become. Until yesterday, that is, when a consequence of the competition ? and the fruits of the labor ? were there for all to see.

Cont'd...

Hold on there son, check out the thread. I don't like them, but don't hate them either. Fortunately, I do have a sense of humor and yes basically ALL of their games are on over here :)
Almost all of their games are on everywhere...

One thing that I am hoping to see a little more of is when Oden gets the ball in the post and is either to far off the block or doesnt have good position for him to pass out and repost and then get better position or hit an open guy for a 3.

I think he is most effective when he posts with his left arm as the inside arm to the basket. Not sure if that is the right or left block but that way he can swing to the lane with his right arm/hand and he just seems to be more dominant going into the lane with his right hand which seemed to be getting stronger.

I understand what you mean, but it can be on the left or right block, but if it is on the left block he turns to the middle and on the right block he turns to the baseline.

I still am amazed at the left and hook he made yesterday. The one right after the possession where he made the right hand hook...

These tendencies make him easier to defend too. I noticed them yesterday.

Not really, that is just his strong hand, play him that way and he will dropstep and dunk it on you, b4 you know what happened. That is why you have to play him straight up, b/c if he gets a crease he is able to do that to you...
