It just sucks that THIS bullshit is the last game Lidstrom is going to play at the Joe....

kinda like the last time Yzerman played at the Joe, fucking pathetic and he even took a puck to the face that game as I remember.

Much like Ohio state head football coaches, when it's time to go it usually doesn't end well :sad:

maybe and i mean MAYBE, they win in trashville, but no reason to. its time to go play golf.

1st period was great, wings played great. but trashvilles D and goaltending is really good. after that, fuck this team. bunch a pussies (not crosby type pussy) but what a shitty way to end the season. FUCK.

I wonder what Holland is going to do this off-season?

Clearly this team is on a downward spiral. They need to shake it up. If that means Illitch needs to fire Babcock (there have been ZERO adjustments this series) and Holland to get some new blood in there, it needs to happen.

Not ashamed. I do it in football (cheering against the Steelers), baseball (against the Yankees/Red Sox), and basketball (against the Heat).

Some teams (Heat) and some fanbases (Yankees, Red Sox, Steelers, Red Wings) are unbearable enough that the failure of their team is a success for the rest of us.

EDIT: But I'm sure you were above cheering for the Broncos when they beat Pittsburgh last year.

It's just painful because my wife makes me go to every CBJ-Detroit game at Nationwide (she being a native of a Detroit suburb); and the Wings fans take over the place with seemingly reckless and disrespectful abandon. I would hate them a lot less if I weren't subjected to it every year.

I get it, same division ( dont read into it, thats what he wants) Wings have stupid fans. i get blasted DAILY for my brothers of scarlet and grey every day in this shit state. just cant judge an entire fan base on a few drunken retards in CBus
