Darren Helm is in the lineup for the Wings tonight. Hal Gill is a game time decision for the Preds. Should be an interesting series to say the least.

That was the 6th first period penalty called thus far. Four on Detroit, two on Nashville. It's the effing playoffs, let 'em play. There were ZERO penalties called in the 1st period of the Flyers-Pens game.

1-0 Preds after the first period. Nashville clearly dominant throughout. Should've been a larger lead for them if you ask me. Can't believe the leagues two LEAST penalized team combined for six in the first period. The playoffs are meant to be less penalized not more.

Henrik Zetterberg ties it for the Wings early in the 2nd on the PP. So the seemingly endless barrage of penalties called has continued into the 2nd period.

2-1 Preds halfway through the 2nd. Still waiting on confirmation of who scored it because it took a deflection. Either way, definition of a flukey goal. Howard should've stopped it but he didn't. Wings to the PP as the games 10th penalty is called with 6:10 left in the 2nd. Pathetic officiating. No reason there should be this many penalties called in a playoff game, let alone the 2nd period.

Yeah, it was a hi-sticking. At least they're equally boning each team. Six to Detroit & Five to Nashville. 11 penalties through two periods though...C'mon man.

3-2 Preds with under two minutes left in the game. Should be hectic finish....hopefully

Game 1 to the Preds. Much deserved to say the least. Wings can't blame the refs because Nasvhille ended up with nine penalties called on them to there seven. Still, absurd that 16 penalties were called in a three period playoff game. Good start to the series for Nasvhille, Rinne was superb throughout.

Refs were fucking retarded, BUT it really didnt "give" the game. Wings lost but WTF!!! Z was getting punched in the back of the head at the end of the game and nothing. NHL is looking bad after this won. Again im not blaming the loss on the refs, but holy shit those guys should be gone. very bad calls and very bad NON calls.
