No he didn't. He learned early to stay away from trouble when he got his ass kicked early in his rookie season. He rarely started shit with anyone, unlike the current captain.

No he got his ass kicked in 1987 when Bobby Gould sent him to the hospital.

He stood toe to toe with Bobby Carpenter his rookie year. Hmmm, maybe he has a thing against guys named Bobby?

Mario was seen as too valuable by his team mates to lose for 5 minutes to a fight and they were right, but he wasn't afraid to drop the gloves nor did he instigate shit like Crysby is doing.

I really need to watch a replay of this game. I just assumed the Flyer guys were picking on Sid, but it sounds like maybe they were right in calling him out for being a bitch.

Besides even if Crosby were to draw a penalty Philly would still put that shit in the back of the net. Not like Pittsburgh on the Powerplay has done much good.


My buddy and myself have one constant thought though and that is we miss Rob Scuderi and Hal Gil. Rob Scuderi/Hal Gil would cost 4 million COMBINED and yet we are paying Martin 5 million per year alone. What a joke now I can just pray someone is dumb enough to take Martin off our hands in the offseason.

Also, never thought I'd miss Max Talbot this much either. He just plays the game hard and tough.

Question for you guys.


If you were Pittsburgh would you Trade Malkin or Crosby for Shea Weber straight up?

I would. Having one mainstay on offense and one Rock on defense. Not to mention the powerplay instantly gets better.

Shea Weber paired with Orpik would be killer.

Why would the Pens trade either of the two best players in the league?

Orpik sucks now too. I'd be ok with them moving everyone on defense not named Letang.

Blow it up. Bylsma's system has gotten stale. Players have apparently stopped playing for him.

I can't speak for everyone but I don't care about any bitching or moaning he does.

It's his instigating then refusing to fight that makes me think a lot less of him. The glove thing is a straw man.

He fought yesterday. I didn't catch every second of the game, but which incident are you referring to? Are you guys expecting him to fight with someone who is usually a fighter? Crosby is many things, but retarded is not one of them.

There is a very long list of players who stir shit and do not fight. Every team has at least one. Crosby is better off not being in the penalty box. He knows this. The other team knows this.

Then he shouldn't start shit.

This is a Crosby "fight":
- Instigate by slapping at the goalie or an extra shove a couple seconds after the whistle
- Lock up so nobody can throw a punch
- Immediately jerk the other player's jersey straight down at the shoulders hoping you both go down and the refs come in and stop
- If that doesn't work, just hang on until the ref gets there
- Once the ref has stopped the "fight", now it's time to throw some cheap ass pussy punches
