1st Round: Flyers vs Penguins

look who is talking.

Penguin fans are the kings of bringing up shit that has nothing to do with the conversation. Quick, ignore that because I'm a Rangers fan. It's easier to rationalize your love of a douche.

Crosby doesn't elbow people in the head like your boy Hagelin. It's far easier to ignore that shit like you seem to be doing.

Remember a few years ago when Ovechkin was getting ready to go with a player and some random Capitals player came in and rescued him?

It's no secret that teammates don't like their best players fighting. That's why it doesn't happen much. Again, this is a league-wide thing and not a Crosby thing. And you guys are telling me to take the glasses off?

Yeah, but Ovie will take a guy on. I've never seen him start something and then back away while someone else fights his fight. I've never seen Crosby fight his own fight.

(Also, good luck finding anywhere that I've said anything bad about Sid before now.)

This whole conversation is hilarious to me. It's so absurd. Crosby blew a fuse like about 12 other players yesterday. But he didn't really do anything that outrageous. There were three hits by the Pens yesterday that were far more dangerous and insult-worthy than anything Crosby did. James Neal had two. Asham had one. Claude Giroux tried to kick Paul Martin in game two. No discussion on that. Pretty big bitch move there. Why not talk about that?
Because any of those three will step up and get their asses kicked after doing something cheap? They aren't bitches for bad hits, they're bastards for bad hits. Duh.

It's not what he did yesterday, it's what he didn't do.

If Jordin Tootoo or Derek Dorsett or Tie Domi refused to fight, they'd be bitches. But they aren't. They stir things up then take on any and all comers.

EDIT - Sidney is still no Claude Lemiuex. Talk about bitches.

And what does that article have to do with the current discussion about Crosby? Nothing at fucking all. It says the game got out of control and Crosby said he didn't like anyone on the Flyers. Groundbreaking shit right there.

No that's the discussion as you are trying to define it.

Nobody cares that the game got out of hand or what he said post game. The "Crosby's a bitch" stuff comes from, for instance, grabbing Hartnell from behind (clearly intending to start a fight) then refusing to engage. It wasn't a goal scrum, he went straight at him near the benches to get something started.

That has shit all to do with teammates protecting the star, what the rest of the NHL does or what Ovechkin did. If others instigate then refuse to engage then they are spineless bitches as well but it doesn't keep Crosby from being one and I don't remember seeing too many superstar goal scorers also play the role of instigator.

No denying the guys talent but also no denying his lack of manhood.

Crosby gets into scrums like every other player in the league and he's a little bitch. Got it.

You're a Rangers fan. Your hatred isn't blind. Crosby kills you guys. And every other team in the league. Probably has a lot more to do with that, but that's probably just me being a biased fan.

How many other players start scrums, then go cower behind the refs while the rest of the team gets involved in the scrum they started?

BITCHMADE

Well I don't know about any of you but Malkin does not play like the dominant player that he can be when Sid comes into the lineup. Two years now when Crosby has been injured for extended periods of time Malkin has put up gaudy numbers only to be a shell of himself once Sidney came back.

Personally I've never understood why Crosby was a captain. Captains don't do what he did in game 3, and for the most part that is Crosby's game. I'm a HUGE pens fan but I can honestly say sometimes the way they play the game disguists me. Diving, acting, instigating, and throwing cheap shots.

Which is why I'd be MORE THAN HAPPY to trade Sidney (who has injury questions to begin with) for a Staple in the backend like Weber. I'm a strong believer in any aspect of essentially anything in life that balance is huge and having 16mil tied up between the top 2 players in the league is dumb. Especially when one or both will demand much more once their current contract is up.

I'd love to see Crosby for Weber+ 1st rounder. Then Trade Paul Martin for either a quality winger or just to clear up cap space to find another winger. Surround Malkin (or Crosby) with great linesman and make it the hardest line to stop and not to mention make the defense leaps and bounds better with Weber.
