they are probably right, but unfortunately for Tejas, very few teams do less with more than they- I don't see that changing while Mack Brown is still in charge

I think that quote doesnt quite fit when comparing ND and Tejas.. it would be more like, ND does significantly less than Tejas with slightly less talent. Sorry to pick your nit.

VY played much tougher competition in HS. Vince played the very best HS competition in the entire country, and completely dominated like very few HS players have in that division.
And honestly, a QB like VY only comes around only once. Apart from the athletic gifts, VY just had so many intangibles- guy was just a natural born leader and had a 4th quarter clutch gene to deliver in the crunch like few college QB's I've seen. Who knows if that kid has those sort of intangibles.
Also, this young fella doesn't have quite the out and out speed that VY had, and he's actually probably behind VY as a passer at the same stage in their careers...if you can believe that.
Texas will also land JT Barrett and possibly even another QB. QB's won't be afraid of trying to beat him out, plenty of people that follow HS football in Texas think Swoopes is overrated and over-hyped.
