Personally, I would like to know the 'real' reason, so if anyone does know, please PM me......

However, when all is said and done, y'all are right move on. Please keep in mind, though, that it is truly a benefit that OSU is enjoying under Urban's 'reign', that OSU can turn away a talent like Neal, Diamond, et al, rather than take them, regardless of the problems/scuttlebutt that they're into. In the old, and not so recent old days (Coop and Tress), we would take them because they were heads and shoulders above those recruiting options that OSU had. Now, OSU (I keep typing 'we') has options that equal or in someway exceeds those young men.

So, whether the denied kids become superstars or wash-outs, it is apparent (to me at least), that UFM is not going to take a kid who has a cloud over their head, which he did at Florida.......at least not for now.

If he can continue the magnificent recruiting in 2013 and beyond, then OSU will have superior athletes and superior human beings as well, which is the best of both worlds. Go Bucks, all day and always.


:gobucks3::gobucks4::banger: And :scum4:no matter who they sign. However, the B10 needs a strong Michigan, but OSU will restart their ten year dominance in 2012, mark it down.....

Not to stir anything up but, anybody think there is a chance we still land both Diggs and Neal? Neal is told to wait so his commitment doesn't fill up the class and in the meantime, Urb releases Berry from scholarship and now has room to take Diggs and Neal?

I don't want to give up on this scenario quite yet.

I'm sure that Berry's release has been anticipated and planned for for some time now. It's not as if the events that precipitated his release occurred yesterday.

Do you really think that the staff didn't have a handle on what was going to happen with Berry when the projected the numbers for this class?

I'm astounded by the number of people who seem to think that Meyer is a superhuman coach and recruiter, but he somehow can't count to 82 or anticipate actions that he might take up to three days in the future.
