'11 FL WR Ja'Juan Story (Florida Signee - Transfer to TCU)

He's been a Florida commit for some time now, but recently been looked at as more of a soft verbal. I've got no inside knowledge, but I'm guessing this is mostly just some hype building by a kid looking to have some fun. In the end, I think he stays with his original pledge.
Best of luck to him regardless.

This is not directed at anyone in particular but needs to be said. I think it is a horrible idea for numerous reasons for people to try to befriend recruits who are interested in their favorite school...whether it be via Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, whatever...it is beyond creepy IMO and reeks of potential recruiting violations. I would just like to go on record as warning against it...and believe me, JT and the staff don't need your help in recruiting a kid to OSU.

Totally agree! Let coaches do their jobs, everything will work out in the end. And I'm sure JT and every other coach wouldn't want the "help" either :osu:

I don't know whether Story really said that Drayton as a WR is dumb or not, but I have to say that it would surprise me if a kid actually thought that way. It's not as if position coaches don't change the position they coach from time to time...I mean, it happens all the time.

Now, if this young man still wants to go to Florida, I can't really blame him...it's a great opportunity. But if he actually felt strongly about tOSU, I just can't imagine being concerned about this coaching move.

I can. Position coaches are, after all, pretty important to a young man whose main contact on the coaching staff will be his position coach.

Can't blame the young man for doing some due diligence here.

Yes, but the point is that position coaches often do change the positions they coach over time. It's really a non-issue and far from "dumb".

Is there any truth to the rumors that Tress will go more spread - and that you will see receivers sometimes assuming a running back role - a-la "The Percy Position"...... hence Drayton (UF runing back coach) as WR coach?
