'11 FL WR Ja'Juan Story (Florida Signee - Transfer to TCU)

This recruitment has me about right here.:2004:

Seriously, If the kid comes to play for us he has a huge opportunity to be a mega star.
  1. His ability
  2. Our depth
  3. Our QB and overall team
  4. Think David Boston
HB

I think the only difference between us and Florida in this sense is that we like to have a feature receiver whereas they like to have an army of receivers. That isn't to say he wouldn't be successful down there, but he can be "the guy" if he works his tail off.

ESPN is reporting he is committed to Florida on CFL?

Did I miss something or is this typical espin reporting?

He's been a Florida commit for some time now, but recently been looked at as more of a soft verbal. I've got no inside knowledge, but I'm guessing this is mostly just some hype building by a kid looking to have some fun. In the end, I think he stays with his original pledge.
Best of luck to him regardless.

Exactly. That could include loving the snow (during wicked cold weather) and how he played the Drayton situation before this.

Best to just sit back and let it play out. Too many shenanigans.

I dislike the hat picking thing at signing day, but with reporters, fans and friends hounding them non-stop about where things stand now (vs earlier that day), I can't blame them for having fun with the process.

And here I thought we were 6 days away from "Drama Day 2011"

Never...

And that is the key... he is announcing on signing day. Why re-commit to Florida so close to the Drama of signing day?

So all of this could be him trying to create drama for his signing. We have seen it before and it won't be the last time we see it. And twitter can be used to hype it even more.

It can go any which way. He could be going to Florida and the past week has been to create drama for the announcement. OR he could be picking Ohio State and now this latest news is to counter his remarks the past week to throw people off the scent.

The only thing is I ain't holding my breathe. Have learned that signing day announcements for out of state recruits tend not to go the Buckeye's way.

If he truly felt that way then I feel like he would have said so previously, strengthened his commitment to Florida, and/or canceled his Ohio State in-home.

If a kid wants his 15 minutes on signing day he needs two schools.

And that is all I have to say about that.
