'10 OH QB/ATH Dwight Macon (Toledo Signee)

Big Red beats Mooney 28 - 16

Local Sports - Heraldstaronline

"Steubenville finished with 277 yards on 42 carries, while holding the run-happy Cardinals to 139. Macon led the Red's running attack with 123 yards and his two TDs. Busick also went over 100 yards, finishing with 108.Macon threw for an additional 789 yards. His longest pass was caught by Michael Goodwin for 21 yards."

I'm pretty sure Macon had a great game, but I don't think he threw for 789 yards :) Roll Red Roll!!!

LOL, No I believe he only threw for 79 yards, but it would've been nice had he thrown for 789 yards:biggrin: Big win, on to Perry. I hope Ohio State offers him. This kid is a winner. Don't let him slip away to another Big Ten school, that's for sure.

I am not a high school football evaluator but I did watch the Steubenville/Cardinal Mooney game this past Saturday and I was pretty impressed with what I saw but after the game could not remember the kid's name. Anyhow, I think he has an extremely strong arm and needless to say is very athletic. I do not know if he has all the QB "tools" to play as the Big 10 level but he certainly is an athlete. I had seen Spencer Ware on TV earlier this year and when I saw Macon I immediately thought of Ware when it comes to their athletic abilities.
