'10 OH QB/ATH Dwight Macon (Toledo Signee)

Macon is a top-tier athlete. Alter did a very good job of not allowing him to make big plays, but the talent is there. He was definitely the best athlete on the field.
Would like to see him get some chances this summer as a receiver at some camps, if he's so inclined to try it.

Agreed, though Boucher and that runningback of yours was pretty impressive. Macon showed some toughness and elusivity in the championship game. Honestly he reminded me of some of the stuff TP had to pull out of his butt this year running for his life from a much bigger Alter front four.

But I definately left that game realizing one thing, though a good athlete, Macon is definately a QB, he can make a difference with his feet, and he is a heck of a safety, but his ability to scramble and find the open man was incredibly impressive.

Macon was recently offered by Toledo. Also Macon and Big Red will be playing host to Devin Gardner and Inkster this year at harding stadium in Steubenville week 9. Should be a great game as both teams are coming off of a being state runners up.

really hope we offer him. the last QB that Ball State offered from the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference (OVAC) turned out to be pretty good.

For anybody in the know, if Montana commits to the Bucks, is Ohio State done with recruiting QBs? thanks in advance for anyone's responses.

Dwight is a quarterback. Pure and simple. Yeah he played defense, but that's because we don't have 2 platoons. He likes the Buckeyes, but if they offer it isn't going to be as a quarterback. Therefore he will go play ball somewhere else. I just hope it's not to another Big 10 team......
