Are the Kentucky and Michigan St. campuses much smaller than OSU? As for Dayton, I know it's home and all but you don't often see guys this highly rated going to mid-major schools. His chances of making it to the league would likely be enhanced by playing in a big-time conference.

Really doesn't matter. If a player has the talent people will notice regardless where he is. But yes I do understand what you are saying. More exposure at a better known and bigger (as far as acclaim) schools.

Watch out for Kentucky here... Visiting there this weekend.

At least that's the word this week... Likely to be different next week knowing AP...

Still trying to figure out how Kentucky got the NCAA to apply the 85-scholarship limit to their basketball program...

Not that AP isn't deserving of the major school offers that he has. Just wondering if UK could find room for him.

(Calipari) "Men we are needing another sacrifice from one of you, who's up next for the purging?"
(Collective team panic) "No!"
(Calipari) "For our team to succeed it demands that you're all in and all out, just remember 'no Payne, no gain!'"

Haven't looked to deeply into their scholarship situation but Patterson, Orton, Cousins & Wall could all be gone by the time Payne starts school

Kentucky or WVU:huh: Well if you are correct, that is one scholarship Ohio State will not have to worry about having.

If I were handicapping those would be the two favorites... Visiting WVU this weekend...

Feels like he wants to play big-time now, and doesn't see a great fit with tOSU...
