#10 Iowa St +6.5 vs #2 tOSU (ov/un 141.5) Sun 12:15 CBS

They have to remember that with multiple long 3s there will be long long rebounds.

Half of ISU's offensive boards were caught at/near the 3 point line. they need to box out the man they are on, not the area they are in.

Amir has looked soft today...biggest guy on the floor but he's gun shy right now. Glad to see DT take the lead on crashing the boards. We desperately need Amir or Rav to step up on the boards, if we can cut off their offensive boards it's going to take a lights out performance for them to win. Win the glass, win the game.

I don't understand why we are getting outrebounded so badly. This hasn't been a problem all season. Iowa St is just out hustling us

Long rebounds and we arent hustling to the ball. Plain and simple.

LOL at Chuck. BiG still overrated with 4 in the Sweet Sixteen if it happens. Thats funny.

Agree. One of these two (if not both) need to step up. Go up strong with the ball and for rebounds. If we rebound the ball in the 2nd half, we'll get the W. JUST WIN BABY!

Major key for ISU will be if Babb can come back from the ankle injury. ISU isn't a big time running team but the pace certainly has been slower than they probably like. That's a credit to OSUs defense.

Its a battle right now but ISUs offense will need to heat up for them to win this. Far too many point blank misses.

Clones have been a good rebounding team this year. Undersized but they hustle. They also have a knack for knowing where the long misses are going.

We spent the last 7-8 minutes of the half with our small-ball line-up in which didn't help.

I like the small-ball lineup because it creates excellent spacing offensively and Thomas gets to operate free-throw line and down where he gets a lot of chip-shot looks. Defensively it leaves us vulnerable in the paint and rebounding.

Either way (small-ball or with Amir/Rav) the long rebounds are killing us. It's time for guys like Sam Thompson, Shannon Scott to quit leaking and looking for the break, and coming back to help crash the glass. I wouldn't mind if they slowed the game down a bit, ti really focus on team rebounding. The faster the pace is, the more open looks ISU will get which is dangerous.

I also think even in a slower tempo game, Aaron and Shannon can still dribble penetrate to get us good looks.

It will be interesting to see what line-up Thad comes out with. If Lenzelle is on the court, I'm really pulling for him to make some positive contributions. He needs to attack the rim more and look to be more of a creator rather than a scorer. And Amir just needs to be ready. Kid is so physically gifted and I don't think he even realizes it. If he's 5 feet from the hoop and gets the ball, he should be absolutely absuing the rim with 2 hands. No need for his finesse shit....
