ESPN - Midwest Recruiting Blog

Brandon Linder (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas) is another of the top Class of 2010 prospects in the Sunshine State. The 6-5, 275-pound Linder is looking at several schools in the Midwest, including Notre Dame. Lindner attended the Michigan at Notre Dame game earlier this season. He also mentions Ohio State and Wisconsin. He has scholarship offers from Miami, Florida, Notre Dame, Auburn, Florida International and Boston College and names Miami, Notre Dame and Florida as his early favorites, though he will not select a college anytime soon.

"I'm going to shut down recruiting and concentrate on the playoffs," Linder said. "I'll pick up recruiting again after the season."

Aquinas is 8-0 and ranked No. 1 in the state.

Confirmed by two sources, including our own OSUBucks22 that OSU has offered...

A good looking prospect and I think the services have him ranked right with a top 250 player. He engages well, locks on, and shows impressive drive blocks. He shows great strength and leverage. Average athleticism and not much to see in pass coverage equals interior line imo, where I think he will be best suited.

any chance?

Why aren't people talking about this kid more? Usually you see the "wouldn't it be great if we could steal this guy out of the south posts" @ this point. He's listed as one of the top 2 or 3 centers in the country. Or is it a forgone conclusion that he is going to one of the Florida schools so nobody is wasting there time? I saw something that he was changing his summer visit schedule up but he still has it narrowed down to four schools (Miami, UF, ND and OSU). Any more up-to-date info than that?
