'10 FL OL Brandon Linder (Miami Verbal)

Why aren't people talking about this kid more? Usually you see the "wouldn't it be great if we could steal this guy out of the south posts" @ this point. He's listed as one of the top 2 or 3 centers in the country. Or is it a forgone conclusion that he is going to one of the Florida schools so nobody is wasting there time? I saw something that he was changing his summer visit schedule up but he still has it narrowed down to four schools (Miami, UF, ND and OSU). Any more up-to-date info than that?

ahahaha awesome timing bro!

It'd be nice to get him, Joyner, and Payne up here for the USC game. 3 STA players together for the game of the year. If the atmosphere is electric and we get a W, that's gotta make them all consider us(though obviously all 3 are already cause we're in their top 5s)

The kid was very very impressive yesterday. Granted it was vs a far lesser opponent but his burst off the line during run plays was excellent and had great use of hands and body control in pass blocking. In my very raw experience evaluating a player he seemed to live up to the hype and then some.

Linder Not Able To Make Official Visit | Ohio State Buckeyes College Football Recruiting, OSU Big Ten Football, OSU Basketball – Bucknuts.com

The Buckeyes were welcoming in nine outstanding prospects on official visits this weekend, but one was not able to make it.

Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas offensive lineman Brandon Linder was injured in Aquinas' game on Friday night. The injury prevented him from making the trip to Columbus for his official visit with the Buckeyes.

Got a solid heads up...Miami and Florida feel great about their chances. If he leaves the state, it will be ND. Parents are either Miami grads or huge fans..

Most have felt for some time he's a very strong Miami lean. As of now, I haven't seen anything that would change him being headed to UM.

Any idea what Duane is talking about here, then:

Despite the good news on players higher on this list I still think Linder is our best bet.

Recruiting - 2010 top 10

Everything I'd heard was that Linder was a long shot for us at best, at this point.
