Game Thread #1 Texas at #2/#3 tOSU, Sat. Aug. 30th, 12pm ET, FOX

And if I were a betting man I would bet that no way are they going to limit JJ like they did last year.
They could. But that would mean that Tate, Inniss and/or Klare have BIG games! Just like last year they stopped JJ, but that meant that Tate, Egbuka and Scott combined for 17rec 168yds and that was with 2 studs in the defensive backfield

Let's see how he matches up against Jackson and Attkinson with a club hand.
And sprinkle in some Curry and George. I think he’ll be in for a long day

They both were on JJ too more often than not. I’m sure Texas is good at DB but to expect the same play as last year (particularly game 1) seems too much

Texas starting left tackle in a cast just days before clash with Ohio State football

Texas might have more problems with the offensive line.

The Longhorns have a player who is in a cast just 48 hours before they take on the Ohio State Buckeyes in the Shoe. While he is expected to play, this could have a major effect on how this game is played and how the Buckeyes attack Texas.

Texas offensive lineman Trevor Goosby has a cast on ahead of showdown with Ohio State football team

Starting left tackle Trevor Goosby has a cast on his arm ahead of the massive showdown on Saturday. Despite this, Steve Sarkisian expects to have him available for the game. It's not ideal to have your starting tackle hurt while breaking in a new starting quarterback.

The guy who protects your QBs blind side. Seriously, how is he going to fend off Jackson and Atkinson?

Can confirm it will be an SEC officiating crew on the field with Big 10 replay officials in the box.

Next year it will be the opposite when we go to Texas.

I wish it were neutral party referees but this is the standard unless it’s negotiated differently.

I hope it doesn’t make a difference but we’re all human, and humans have biases….on top of wanting to please their bosses, which happen to be the conferences they work for..lol.

It’s a terrible system ripe with conflict of interest.
