A fan-until-one-loss base of retarded, spoiled, whiny, moronic bandwagon jumpers who think football started in 1983 (Cryami)?

Yeah.... didn't think so....
Game over. All fanbases have their problems, but Miami has most of their stadium leaving early in the game if things don't go well... or not even comingBucklion;1272584; said:A fan-until-one-loss base of retarded, spoiled, whiny, moronic bandwagon jumpers who think football started in 1983 (Cryami)?

The funny part is that they "proven" their elite status by pounding second rate b10 teams, after which most declare they weren't worthy competition. If Illinois was unworthy (strong case to be made), then why is that victory worthwhile?
I still think Petey's a great coach, I'm just speaking to the knee-jerk analysis crowd, which encapsulates 99% of the media.

USC loses another game and finished 10-2 in regular season
other teams will either be undefeated or have no losses
and the media will come with their usual "usc is the best team even though they have 2 losses they should be playing for the title over teams with one or no losses, bla bla bla, they tripped up this year but out for them next year!, bla bla bla"
Colvinnl;1272602; said:Assuming your prediction to be true, what does that say about our team? We were absolutely pounded and I don't think Beanie makes a difference. At least the loss to the Beavers looks like a fluke. Ours did not.
Here's my problem with this line of thinking... if USC gets a pass for losing to a bad Oregon State team why does Ohio State get buried under a pile of insults for losing to "TEH BEST CFB TEAM EVAR!!!1!1!!"? I understand part of it is because the offense didn't show up but Oregon State had no business being in that game if USC plays with the same intensity as they did against Ohio State.Colvinnl;1272602; said:Assuming your prediction to be true, what does that say about our team? We lose 2 NATIONAL FUCKING CHAMPIONSHIP games in a row and all of a sudden we belong playing in the WAC. It's utterly fucking ridiculous.

It's not so much the question of whether or not Beanie would have made the difference, but why the staff so criminally misused the other backs. Why the hell did we start Boom when we have a "big, strong, north-south runner" like Maurice Wells, who barely even played?bkochmc;1272618; said:And I also don't buy into the "Beanie wouldn't make a difference" line of thinking either. Would Ohio State have won with him... maybe not but it would have been a better offensive game for Ohio State.
I don't know if you're being sarcastic there (I heard that quote about Mo Wells last night while watching the game or maybe after it ended), but I think Boom is a far superior back to Mo Wells. Year in and year out, all I've seen Mo Wells accomplish is not fumbling the ball and running it up the center for 1-2 yards per play.Dryden;1272632; said:It's not so much the question of whether or not Beanie would have made the difference, but why the staff so criminally misused the other backs.
